Hello! Hello! Hello!
Sorry, it’s been quite a while since I have written on my blog. 2014 was not the best year for me and I’m determined to make 2015 better. I have missed blogging. Many things have happened. I have started a couple other blogs, I also have another story coming out this year (although it’s not official yet). I also have a novel I’m trying to get published that I co-authored with a good friend Caitlin Ricci. We have been rejected by a couple of publishers but we are still submitting and hopefully picked up, if not maybe we’ll venture into the self publishing realm.
I’m hoping to start-up with this blog again to help with authors and events in my favorite genre of m/m paranormal romance. I would love some feedback on what extra things you would like to see on the site if any, I love comments, re-posts and feedback so please feel free to comment below.
Now for some shameless advertising for myself and awesome talents 😉
I have started a writing blog. Mostly I wanted a place for writers to get together and talk about the market, readers, and what they have learned. I’m hoping to build a community of writers who want to have fun. Please join and follow me at Write and Keep Writing.
I have a new portfolio page, I do cover art, illustrations, and graphic design. You can find me at Breathless Design and here is my Portfolio. I also have prints available of several of my illustrations and graphic design at Imagekind and Deviant Art.
I have also been working very hard on my graphic design and illustration. The merman on this post is one of my new illustrations. Please feel free to let people know about my graphic design, illustrations, and cover art, I love to help out authors looking to self publish or who want unique designs for bookmarks, trading cards, website banners, etc.
So check out my new stuff and keep writing!

It has been a crazy few weeks. My company has been going through major layoffs for the past two years. Unfortunately, they are now closing the site were I work. Thankfully, I will be moving to another site but it is a much longer drive. Needless to say I have been looking for a new job. I have already had three interviews, I hope one of them loves me enough to say yes! 🙂 But at least I still have a job, I’m very grateful for that.
I’ve been working on cover art and my stories. I’m actually writing again, although I have been a terrible blogger 😦
I’ve added artwork to my Art & Design page so check out my portfolio at My Portfolio.
I’ve also finally created a DeviantART page so check that out here.
The photo on this post is my lastest art piece, hope you enjoy!
Have a wonderful writing Wednesday! 🙂
I officially signed and sent in my first contract! I’m going to be published and I’m very excited!
It will be for an anthology that some local authors have put together. I cannot wait to start the process. This will be a wonderful experience and I want to learn as much from this as I can. I really hope that this is the first contract of many to come! 🙂
So trust me when I say if I can do it anyone can! Know that you can do it and keep writing!
I’ve read several complaints about 2012 and it’s true it hasn’t been the best year. But New Year’s is about being grateful for where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. So, let’s remember the past, but more importantly, look forward to the future.
I started this blog in February 2012, obviously something for me to be grateful for. I wrote, edited, submitted, and received a rejection on my first novel this year, not many could say that. I also sold my first cover art. I met some amazing friends at GRL and I’m looking forward to attending next year!
I have found several great TV shows and seen epic movies this year. I have also discovered great new authors and their amazing stories. Too bad I don’t have more time to just get lost in those stories *sigh*.
I attended only weddings this year and no funerals so I consider myself very lucky for that. I’m grateful I made it through the year without too many hiccups and how much I have grown. I have my beautiful husband and my cute-as-a-button cat. I also got my Master’s degree this year and my husband got his bachelors! I’m an absolute believer in being a life-long learner!
I got to see my sister and brother this year for the holidays and they both live out of state. My brother also got engaged! I had Christmas at my house with my parents and got to see my in-laws. So the holidays were very good but went much too fast.
I also have mixed feelings about the apocalypse not happening. Mostly I wanted to see if I could survive the zombie’s rising or an alien invasion or maybe a new reign of Furbys over mankind. Although, the moon exploding or a comet strike may have been pretty and devastating all at the same time, it still would have been a pretty awesome apocalypse. Therefore, I’m kind of disappointed in the Mayan calendar for that.
Although I had a great 2012 I’m looking forward to 2013. Also grateful that we made it to 2013. I hope that this will be filled with even more weddings and amazing stories of greatness. So goodbye 2012 and hello 2013! This year will be a good one. So celebrate safely and keep writing!
