A ton has happened since I started this blog on February 6, 2012. In September alone I have attended a wedding and a funeral. Our lives just get busier and the days go by faster. I can’t believe it is almost October!
I can’t believe I have finished my first novel! I have edited it and finally submitted my novel! I’m hoping to hear back from the publisher sometime in October! We shall see 🙂
I’m a person who likes to do some planning ahead. Of course with my Master’s degree coming to a close I have been horrifically busy! But I wanted to blog today about NaNoWriMo. NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month which takes place in November every year. For anyone who hasn’t heard of this event and you are a writer I highly suggest participating. It’s 50,000 words in 30 days. The main website is: http://www.nanowrimo.org/. There are also local chapters for many states and cities. I suggest hooking up with them to find out if there are writing day events in your local areas.
So start planning out those novels but no cheating, don’t start writing until November!
I may also be hosting my first author in November so keep an eye out for my first author hosting event!
