Review: This book involves time-travel, fantasy, magic, and an elf with no filter. Prince Fabion is a supermodel in the future where humans and elves exist together in a withering planet. Elves are considered sacred and Fabion being beautiful and a prince makes him one of the top elves. Little does Fabion’s cocky self know that he is being stalked by a wizard determined to take him back in time to save his former-life lover, King Henda, from death.
Prince Fabion is far from your average fantasy elf. S.A. Garcia’s quick wit and colorful language created Fabion to be one of the most idiosyncratic elves ever imagined. His slang even had my head spinning with trying to figure out what he was saying, but once his offbeat lingo is figured out I couldn’t help but love his self-centered attitude. Henda almost falls into the background against Fabion’s larger then life attitude but that hardly takes away from the king’s high-spirited heart.
Fabion would never sleep with anyone but his handsome king Henda but the wondering eyes had me huff a sigh. As some may know from a previous ranting post, I’m not a huge fan of the drifting heart, especially in a romantic story, but that is just who Fabion is. If you are looking for a lighthearted elf tale with a hilarious narcissistic prince, then look no further this is your book.
